Hello. Just thought you’d appreciate being informed. Although I do not support your view, (I work in the pipeline industry), thought I would give you a little heads up as to the near future. The KeystoneXL will be going through. The infrastructure is being built as of now. The rest of the project will probably kick off late 2011 or early 2012. After the Keystone project is complete, A 42″ NG line (the Rockies Alliance) will be coming from Wyoming on its way to Illinois, straight through the heart of Nebraska. This is good for me, as I live here. I don’t like to be far from home to work, and it looks like I won’t have to be for the next 3 years. Links are:

I’m all for clean water. But the facts are, the sandhills aren’t anything special. Most farmers and ranchers consider them a complete waste as it is. And at this time there are already 28,000 miles of pipelines in Nebraska. It’s silly to think that another 300-400 are going to make any kind of a difference. So, I guess we’ll see you in about a year. I’ll be the one hauling the pipe!
TranSCAMada . . . Keep your pollution for yourselves!
The USA doesn’t need it – doesn’t want it!
Speak for yourself you silly, clueless person…
Alberta — No tar sands carcinogens for us!
NEBRASKANS with pure water still.
What about the Yellowstone River in Montana? Should be in the Missouri by now and soon in Omaha and other points downstream1
Don’t pick the tar sands oil — leave it for the Albertans to enjoy!
You can’t drink oil, and you can’t eat greenbacks, Bros. Koch!
